The Files app does not access (or can’t find?) files “On my iPad”. First it found nothing, then I updated Pages and Numbers and it found those files… My Notes app now has a header over the filenames saying On My iPad, but Files does not access those files… This evening I just updated Dropbox and now Files lists it as an app Folder, though I have no files in it.

I saw a comment from another user with the same problem. Do we have to wait for upgrades of all our apps to see their files?

The notes from notes don’t need to be in the files app, they are seen when you open notes.

DO NOT do this update. Wait for at least 2 updated releases, Apple does NOT do proper beta testing and relies on the public to do it for them.

Once they (apple) have released a couple updated versions then, if there are no major bug reports, consider it.

Personally I am NOT doing this update, as it discontinues many of the features I use daily with OSX.

@no way Your last comment is the smartest one of yours I’ve ever seen. Why don’t you go to 9to5Mac and troll their with all the other low life’s. This article is also about iOS 11, not OSX moron. I installed iOS 11 on all 5 of the devices my family has, no issues at all. Best iOS so far, immediately saved gigs of space on all of them also
